8speed transmission leak

I have transmission fluid running from the top of my transmission. I’ve cleaned everything up and have confirmed it is coming from the top. To me it appears it’s the vent line. Maybe it’s venting and the tube is loose and running down. Does anybody have an idea why it would vent?
Im going to go ahead and order parts for a filter/fluid change on it. Any help is appreciated..thanks!!

Any chance you’ve done work on the transmission recently? Any issues with the transmission running hot or acting up? I would try using a mirror to pinpoint the leak if you can.

As @crazykid1994 asked, have you had any trans service done recently? 2 common causes of fluid out of the vent are overfilling, or low fluid level and aerated (foaming). Verify proper fluid level would be a good starting point.
