Well I ordered up some new tires 35/12.50/24 Comforser CF3000. I have heard mixed reviews about them, but for the price I didn’t want to pass them up.
Right now I have 37/13.50/20 AMP MT Attacks that have been killing my truck in more ways than one. These tires are just to damn heavy. I’m keeping them though just in case I don’t like the Comforsers.
I’m kind of curious if anyone else has ran a big lift with at least a 35” tire and how it was. Also has anyone ran these tires? I know it’ll be lighter than the 37’s lol.

Well at least it won’t be as boring as your truck lol.

OP:
it’s not my taste but it’s not my truck either. I’ll be interested to see how it turns out even though I’d want a taller tire (like the 37s you’re taking off) with that much lift.

I’ll be as interested as you to see the outcome though.

Yeah I don’t really know and I’ll see how it goes. That’s why I’m keeping my 37’s as it may not be the look I like either! At least I know I can throw my 37’s back in and turn a nice profit it that the case. I ran my 24’s with a low profile tire before I lifted my truck.

35's look weird on a 4" lift on a 9" you should stuff bigger tires :)

I run 37's and have no issues on mine. I do have a Custom tune and a bunch of other upgrades.

I google foo’d “35’s on 24’s” and most everything was a pic of a cheby... although there was one stock 5th gen ram with that setup.

To each their own....

I think your proportions will most closely resemble the first pic above (dark blue Chevy). Except I think they’ll look even a bit smaller that that example due to our wheel well size/shape and you’re definitely lifted a hair higher than that truck.

I have a custom tune as well, and bolt ons. I just having issues with wheel bearings constantly. I’m keeping the 37’s and if I don’t like the look, I’ll just swap them back out. I don’t mind the first pic and will see how this goes. Thanks for the input and I know everyone has different tastes which is great to hear! Right now I’d love to stay with the 37’s but going to see how she rides and handles with lighter tires.

In all honesty, the 35” tire/24” wheel combo could possibly weigh as much or more than your 37” tire/wheel combo. So if you are thinking that they will be much lighter, you could be in for a surprise. However, the overall gearing should be a decent improvement as far as drivability goes due to the shorter tire.

Thanks for the pics for a visual of this setup. I didn’t see these pics, but others. Gearing is what I’m looking into. I just switched out my front and rear shocks and the old struts where way off. Truck had a little squat. She’s perfect now, control arms and cv shafts are great.

The dreaded 3:55 and she’s a dog! I’m regearing to a 4:56 but don’t have the funds at the moment. I just went through an ungraded tranny and now just throwing bits and pieces on that I need to change out. Pedal commander and tuner are handy or I wouldn’t even bother driving my truck lol
