hi have a a 96 ram 1500 5.2 reg cab short bed. i just scored this truck with 104k for 1250$ i replaced the front left U joint already because of a front end noise. the noise that was making is gone but i have a new noise (probably always been there but just thought it was the u joint) it doesnt make any noise when going over bumps so i dont think its ball joints or anything with the suspension. but i can really feel it when cornering or when im braking. i can really feel it clunk through the brake pedal. and sometimes can feel it through the steering wheel. the pandhard rod bushing has a ton of play in it so i think ill just replace the bushing first but is there any other suggestions on what it could be? thanks

The trac bar of Gen 2 Rams is a notorious piece for a front end clunk.
You can have someone saw the steering wheel left / right while under the truck and look at the tie rods / other joints.

I'd bed your trac bar is loose as all hell. RockAuto has a factory replacement for like $80.
Or, if you're going to lift / level the truck, get a nice adjustable one!

X2 with WhiteExpress. Check the general health of the entire front-end, with special attention to the track-bar. One of my favorite videos is a well-documented one of the notorious "Dodge-Death-Wobble". DODGE DEATH WOBBLE - YouTube This is a bad track-bar! Shoulda been a re-call for this.

The track bar won't clunk, the track bar will shake the hell out of you at 60+ mph.

I'm more willing to bet you have a hub gone south on you up front.

(unlike the other guys, I actually own a 2nd gen. lmao)
