So I'm going to keep the 5.0 uconnect for a while and just change out the speakers for now and amp and sub later.
1st question do I stay with 4 ohms or can I do 2 or 3 as long as all speakers are the same ohms
2nd I like the bass my system puts out right now to keep that or better would I stay with 6x9's 2 way or 6.5 2 ways in the doors witch one would have more bass.
3rd what power range for the speaker could I use with the 5.0 do I have to stay under a specific range.
Thanks for the help

If you want more midbass up front, IMHO stick with 6x9's, and 4 ohm is fine.

Graygoose what 6x9 will fit the front doors. I posed that question and was told that most guys are running 6.5's up front because a 6x9 will not fit.
I installed Kicker 6x9 in the rear doors and thought it would be great if those will fit the front doors. I went ahead and ordered a pair of Kicker 6.5's from Crutchfield.

1- stick to 4 ohm
2- 6x9's will provide more low end
3- power range should only matter if you amp them

with the stock headunit power, stick to 6X9's if you plan to amp them later i would do 6.5 components, with the right set you would be very surprised what type of midbass you can achieve.
