Hi,

I had Brake and ABS lights on, inoperative speedometer issue with P500 code.

replacing the rear sender didn't fix the issue so I got a used ABS module off ebay, same part number and installed it.

This fixed the error, and solid brake light/ABS light combo. Now, the ABS just blinking at me, but speedometer works!

my understanding is that I need to either clear the ABS module (reset it) or program the tire size, pinion ratio into the ABS module, either way, a trip to the dealer since I don't have a DRDIII tool.

Is this right or is this about driving a certain number of miles? what's a reasonable fee?

my local dealer said they are only successful 30% of the time and that it would be 157.00 !

Thanks
