ABS Wheel Speed sensor help

Hey gents, My ABS Wheel speed sensors get broken all the time. This time the first time it snowed here, it looks like it was cut straight in half. No idea how it happened. Anyway I found a part online here:

I am going to try to replace it myself. Anyone done this? How hard is it? Its the left front, are they all universal?

They are not universal. But I believe they are the same left and right. It is easy to do. I believe you just need to remove the left front rotor and you will see it there in the top. There is a hole in the dust shield to get you it. One small Allen holding it in.

Guy at Napa tries telling me I i have to replace entire hub assembly? That makes no sense to me... The wire that is exposed it cut and that link I posted is what I need
