Hello guys! Sadly , the wire connected to the air compressor broke off and crumbled. When I bought the car it was connected with tape. I knew I would have to replace it soon . Can anyone please let me know what I have to replace to get my AC to stop only blowing hot air and begin to work functionally again. This Texas heat makes it almost impossible to go out without any cold air. Thank you to everyone who replies. If anyone can point to where I have to go to buy the part too. This is my first work truck so I'm very new to the dodge brand. Thank you all!
I added the best pictures I could take !

That is not actually connected to the compressor lol, that's the pressure sensor/transducer. You're gonna have to evacuate the system, replace it, then get it refilled.

Many options for replacement, OEM, Rockauto, etc.

No need for @LeBeast to evacuate the refrigerant. The high pressure switch is connected to a Schrader valve so no refrigerant will escape.

SO look for a pressure sensor only? Both ends of that wire need replacing. i just want to know how to fix it. Sorry this is my first truck and i want to sustain its good health for as long as possible. Thank you all for your replies!

Ah ok, there's a Schraeder underneath it? Wish they did shipboard systems like that lol.

You have to take what's left of the sensor out of the connector and unscrew it from the tubing. This is what it looks like when it's whole:
