AC noise, is this normal?

Just wondering if its normal or not. Basically when idling stationary with the AC on I can hear a constant faint whirring ( wurr-wurr-wurr-wurr) noise from engine bay area. If I turn the AC button OFF it goes away.

It is the electric radiator fan being commanded on when you turn the A/C on. Comes on either by the A/C being commanded on or coolant temp has reached a certain temp range. It is normal.
