This is one of my first posts here. have a 2006 Ram 1500 2wd quadcab. Just installed maxtrac 4.5lift spindles ,5100 shocks and now want to lift the rear. Been looking at different add a leaf brands out there and need to here from anyone who has experience with any...Ive found Pro comp, Fabtech, spring force and Top gun customs. looking for 1.5-2 inch max and a decent amount of added towing/hauling capacity. Don't want anything that is going to stiffen the rear too much. anybody running any of these brands?

I would think any add a leaf will stiffen the rear quite a bit. Why not just do a lift shackle or block lift. Much cheaper too.
Post up some pics when you can. Been contemplating lifting me 06 reg cab

considered a block and shackle but since I occasionally tow a trailer and haul things was looking for something more functional to lift the rear.. would go with a block with an air bag assist but just got done replacing all my shocks and ball joints along with the lift. will post some pics as soon as i figure out how on this forum...

Instead of using the quick reply option, click go advanced and there will be an attach option (paper clip) to add pictures. I don't see the shackles or blocks being an issue for towing but other than that the ad a leaf would stiffen your ride. Assist bags are your best option I think. Or you could buy lift springs but I'm not sure what they run now a days.

Air bags are your best bet to keep the ride. And whether you go air bag or add a leaf it will not increase your payload capacity. Yeah it won't squat as bad but the rating won't go up.

Off topic question- I'm looking at lifting my truck and been debating full suspension lift or spindle lift. What made you pick spindle?
