Add key fob

I have a 2011 2500 ST and would like to be able to unlock/lock my doors with a fob. I have AlphaObd and can change the settings to enable the feature. Would I need any modules, wiring harness, etc? Links to write-ups/parts would be much appreciated.

If your truck didn't come with keyless entry, you would need an rf hub, and possibly the solenoids in the doors.

Your going to need alot more info to know if this is feasible.

Do you currently have power door locks? With AlfaOBD, if you connect to the wireless ignition module and read the system status, what is the part number?

That’s the keys you already have. What’s that part number of the WIN module if you were to scroll up in the first pic?

It doesn't show a PN for the module. Only the software and hardware version. I ran the ID test and PN is still blank.

New here and been reading about the AlfaOBD, but I can tell you this if you have power locks/windows you can add the wireless entry / key fob I did it on my 11 3500 ST, but at the time (3/4 yrs ago) I had to take it to the dealer to have the sales code and programing done and key fob programed, from what I have read it looks like the AlfaOBD mite be capable of adding this feature

Enable the RKE feature in you body module, get the PIN number for your truck from the dealer, program the fob, and you’re all set.

Got the pin the other day. Needed it for something else. Thanks for the help. I'll post results when I program it.
