First time here so thanks in advance. My 2016 RAM came bare bones, no backup camera and the small screen stereo. I'm replacing stereo with an Alpine ILX-W650 ans adding an aftermarket backup camera.

I know I need 12V power to camera via reverse lighting circuit. 1) Is there such a wire in the factory stereo harness? 2) Which wire is it? 3) Can I wiretap into that for my power?

Any advice is much appreciated.

Thanks all, Jeff

It would probably be easier to pul the power off the trailer plug on your truck. The plug is the closest power source to the camera
