Would like to add amp to base audio of 2013 Ram and I'm assuming I'll have to cut the speaker wires in the harness in the dash and was wondering if anyone has the color codes for the wires and also what the easiest way to get power for remote signal for amp, thanks

Don't cut at most just strip a little insulation back and solder loc wires to it and insulate with electrical tape.

If using loc, it gets signal for amp but you still have to cut wires to speakers for speaker outputs from amp?

Here's what I would do.

Cut the speaker wires behind the radio leaving enough room to solder them back together if you decide to sell the truck. Feed the LOC with the radio side of these wires then run the RCA cables from the LOC to the amp. I've always put the amp behind the rear seats. Lots of room back there.

Then from the amp run a speed cable along side the RCA cables to the radio. Then connect those wires to the truck side of the wires you cut. The speed cable makes things much easier.
