Adding BT microphones without using a mirror???

In the process of upgrading my noconnect 3.0 to a Uconnect 5.0 mainly for the BT feature. I already have an aftermarket auto dimming rear view mirror with compass/temp and would like to leave it alone.

Does anyone know a way to wire in microphones, OEM or aftermarket, to the system so I can utilize bluetooth with my phone? I know there has to be a way, and I've been searching a lot, but can't seem to find many answers.

Or can anyone tell me why there are two mics? I've figured I'm just going to have to wire one in myself but not sure why it has connections for two.
