I have a ram ST 1500, without fog lights. I am looking at upgrading the bumper, and one I am looking at has the spaces for fog lights. How difficult would it be to add a set of fog lights?

well worth it, look at the yellow ones. The light can be so bright it will give you better vision then high beams, especially on the periphery. I didn't do mine myself, I had an installer do mine, had a separate switch drilled into dash. It was only one hour labor. With PIAA's in was in the high 300 dollar range and that was with lights. Best mod ever, man the vision at night is so incredible you makes you think they should be mandatory. Some guys are putting them behind grill.

If you plan on going factory you'll need the headlight switch w/fogs (rockauto.com ~$40) fog light jumper harness (ebay ~$25) and fog light brackets and housings (rockauto.com ~$40 combined) then have the dealer program sales code for fogs.

I did it like Burla on my old 13 ST,but cut them into the original bumper.I used Ridgid driving lights ,and they were pretty decent at lighting up the ditch and throwing a decent beam out front.I cut a "lighted" switch into the dash, and used a relay to run them.Use a lighted switch if you do a seperate stand alone system
