Mine came with the console from the factory but not the luxury package and I can't find the harness

Unbroken- that would be awesome if you could finally solve this dilemma

It will be easy to see . Take the a-arm pillar cover off . The harness that runs in there goes up into the headliner.. It will span towards your console and towards the rear driver panel also.. If you can't find the harness I would suggest making one with the power from your console. Simple to do with hot and ground

OK...the plugs in mine were taped just out of sight onto the headliner. The wiring harness is actually glued to the headliner everywhere it runs....making removing the headliner a pain in the ass. I clipped the harness where it runs down the a-pillar. I couldn't find a plug and didn't feel like chasing it down behind the dash. Rewiring it is a 5 minute job so screw it.
After I unscrewed the visor and the clip that holds it in place the liner dropped far enough to find the plug and pass it through to disconnect it.

Here you can see where it runs along the front of the liner.

Here's most of the harness and where I clipped it to remove the liner.

And the easy part to see if the wiring is in your trucks....pop the driver side a-pillar off and check for the yellow wire with a light greenish blue tracer. That feeds both sides....so if you have that you can pretty much bet the plugs are taped to the headliner out of sight.

My eyes are pretty bad so I couldn't focus on the wire for the tracer color...but y'all can see it here along with the other wires to reference.

Hope that helps.

I just got mine here:
Dodge RAM 1500 2500 Plastic Lighted Sun Visors 2011 Sunvisors ADJUSTABLE11 | eBay

FYI looked and don't have the harness, but do have the yellow wire with the blue stripe. It feeds the map lights. Luckily the visors I ordered just had the wires cut at the connectors so I can build a harness from that. For those without the harness, you can build one and wire them into the map light harness. Use the Yellow/Blue stripe wire for your 12v and the Black/Brown stripe for your ground. I'll take pics when I'm done.

Would it be possible for you to post these pics again? I am looking to add the lighted visors to my vehicle and cannot see your pics. I pulled my headliner down some and saw the harness above the window opening but could not see and connectors for the visor. Thanks for your help.

All I can find are ones for up to 2012 on Ebay. Cant tell if they are vinyl or fabric. Can anyone confirm fitment of the 2012 visor to a 2015? Wiring can be figured out later.

I finally found some nice used illuminated sunvisors on e Bay and bought them.My truck is a 14 Express and originally came with the overhead console and the RA2. I was able to install the homelink module and it was all plug and play. I was hoping the wiring would be there for the sunvisor as well but I don't think.it is. I have pulled the headliner down as far as I could and I don't think mine has the wires. I was kinda disappointed but I am going to check again when I install them. If the wiring isn't there I am just going to run the wires down each A pillar and down to my power seats that I installed. I will just tap them in there. It's a simple install either way.

Rick did you ever check again to see if it was prewired for the visors I was thinking of doing this on my 14 Express as well. If it's not prewired I'll just leave it as is.

I pulled my headliner down as far as I could and I couldn't find any wires. I installed the sunvisors and just wired them to positive and ground. They work great. I think the Harness Conection will make custom harnesses if you contact him. Either way it's super simple. I had them installed and wired in less than an hour.

I installed these in my truck about a year ago, I built my own harness for the overhead console and incorporated the power leads for them into the overhead harness. Just splice into the circuit for the map lights the connectors are very cheap as well.

I decided to add them since I was building the harness and adding the overhead home link console. In hindsight I am not sure if

So is the wiring to add illuminated sunvisors in the headliner or not?
I got confused with this post lol.

I have a 14 express as well and I would want to put them on if they are plug and play with the wiring somewhere inside the headliner.

No the wiring is not there for the sunvisors. At least it wasn't on my 14 Express Quad Cab with the factory overhead console. If you have an overhead console you can wire them into your map lights. It's very simple to do. If you don't have an overhead console you wil have to run power to the visors from a positive source or build a harness to plug in behind your drivers side A pillar like Cptwing did. It's just a positive and negative wire that needs to be ran. I belive the Harness Connection will make harnesses for this if asked.
