OK...the plugs in mine were taped just out of sight onto the headliner. The wiring harness is actually glued to the headliner everywhere it runs....making removing the headliner a pain in the ass. I clipped the harness where it runs down the a-pillar. I couldn't find a plug and didn't feel like chasing it down behind the dash. Rewiring it is a 5 minute job so screw it.
After I unscrewed the visor and the clip that holds it in place the liner dropped far enough to find the plug and pass it through to disconnect it.
Here you can see where it runs along the front of the liner.
Here's most of the harness and where I clipped it to remove the liner.
And the easy part to see if the wiring is in your trucks....pop the driver side a-pillar off and check for the yellow wire with a light greenish blue tracer. That feeds both sides....so if you have that you can pretty much bet the plugs are taped to the headliner out of sight.
My eyes are pretty bad so I couldn't focus on the wire for the tracer color...but y'all can see it here along with the other wires to reference.
Hope that helps.
