I have an 05 Ram 1500 with 5.7 and automatic. The 5.7 is all stock other than a cold air intake. I was considering an after market throttle body, something like a BBK or maybe a FAST. I have a couple questions. Is there a noticeable difference? I have seen them listed as 85mm, 87mm and 90mm throttle bodies. With my motor being stock would the 85mm be the best. Finally which is the better choice, from the reviews I’ve read it seems the BBK is the better one on the market. Thanks a lot.

Being stock IMO save your money until you have a goal for the engine. The TB is a critical component, but is just one piece of the package.

Like they said; you'll want to do other things first before. The return on investment for the price of a new one isn't worth it. If you want one bad enough though, I have a used BBK 85mm sitting on the shelf I haven't gotten around to listing lol.
