Hey,

I have an '11 with the 430 unit. Originally I planned on keeping it so I bought a Lockpick and compatible backup camera. Never did get around to setting it up though.

Anyways, I've decided I want Nav though, so I been looking as this Alipine unit:
Alpine INE-S920HD Navigation Receiver
Does anyone have any experience with this particular one?

The main thing for me is maintaining most (if not all) of my current capabilities, but I assume I'd have to sell the Lockpick and camera, and buy a different camera? And would need to buy a new tuner to keep Sirius?

Thanks in advance guys,

Anyone? Just tryin to come up with a gameplan.

In the meantime, it's install time for my new S&B intake, 87mm TB, and Trinity from Moe's :party28:
Thanks again, Matt!

Along with my V6 Efan and 180 tstat I've had sittin' around the garage for a while.

I think Kenwood makes an adapter for the OEM camera. In not sure about Alpine. For Sirius, I don't think you can use the factory stuff with aftermarket head units. I wasn't able to with mine. I would have traded you my setup a couple weeks ago. I was looking to trade my head unit, camera, and Bluetooth for a 430. Mine will do navigation with an extra module, but still would have saved you about half the price.

Yep. Put a relay in for the brake bypass. Works like a charm. I can show navigation on the head unit from my iPhone. Just have to control it from the phone. I'm thinking about going ahead and doing the amps tomorrow, but it's supposed to only be 20 degrees again.

Good stuff. Hey, have you given up on Sirius? I was told all you need to do is buy a new tuner and you can transfer over your account. Best of luck with the amps, do you have much experience with this sort of stuff? I have a sub and speakers that I need to install, but not sure what I'm going to be getting myself into.

I may look into a Sirius tuner. But with Pandora I don't miss Sirius too much. I don't have any experience with this stuff. This was my first time doing a radio. Places are getting outrageous on prices for installing. To have everything I had in my last truck put in this one, I was quoted $1,500. The amps are all I like now. Was quoted $350 to put them in.

Not too familiar with Pandora? I know man, it's crazy. Can only imagine how much they'd want up here in Canada. $500 just to have a set of flares painted, ffs :wtf:

Internet radio kinda. You make a station by picking an artist or song, then it starts playing stuff that's similar to it. You like or dislike the songs it plays and in theory it starts playing more stuff that you like. Works pretty good. And it's free.
