My thoughts exactly. But I've been scouring the former pick-a-parts, now LKQ, and they have an online parts finder. In the past few months, there hasn't been a single 4th gen ram within 200 miles

I’ve had the same issue on my air box for the past 4 years. I haven’t fixed it since the clamp still holds the air box in place. Only issue is when removing it - it has a tendency to flip out away from the box.

Haha well I didn't say they actually had any 4th gens in either of their yards right now. Just what you'd pay if they did.

And the locals that have thrown a $150 cai on their trucks want $80 to $250 for their take offs. Too much legal wacky stuff being sold (and smoked) out here...

As our Canadian friends will attest, a good 'Red Green' application of duct tape will probably suffice.

Greetings good people. While changing my air filter, I popped open the 4 clips, and I heard 1 fall. I managed to locate the clip, but it wouldn't secure back on to the air cleaner box. It'll hold the lid, but it doesn't stay attached to the box. I popped out the housing, and realized the little tab on the housing was broken. Not the end of the world, but I know that one of these days I'll forget it's not secure, and I'll loose it. The broken tab is not in an accessible area where plastic welding or other repair could be made.
Considering that this snapped, I'm guessing others have had the issue.
A new housing is a ridiculous price. I'm tempted to just leave it as future guy's problem, but I like to fix the details along the way, before it all adds up

( all of them are within 5 miles of the US/Mexico Border )

Would only be temporary fix to keep it sealed tight till you obtained a new/used one.
