Considering these options . I tow and stock suspension is to soft for any kind of towing or hauling on a 1500. I'd like to hear from "someone that has the 5000 kit installed."Considered springs but think the additional contact points of the 5000 would help sway & the system is adjustable

Interesting. Not sure that the 5000 series is for the 1500 though. That said, I am running the 5000 on my 2014 2500 and they work as advertised. My thought, they are way more assist than you would ever use. I'm loaded to capacity with a 13k 5'er, bed mounted generator and four 5 gal. fuel cans and level out at about 40#. The level and suspension shock dampening are the reasons that I use them at all. Like my headlamps in aim when towing. Know what it's like to come up on a truck towing and headlamps directly in my eyes. Also, the shock on suspension when on a rough or choppy road is much better and I feel better for the truck and 5'er as well over the long haul.

I'm running the 5000 series on my 1500. Been on over 50 snow machine trips all over Alaska and lemme tell ya, they work absolutely amazing. Without a load and the bags with only minimal psi in them, truck feels like a truck. No longer drives like a car haha.
With a load though the ride is pretty decent. Obviously helps if you have some rubber on your wheels.
