For the second time I get in the truck in the morning and I get the “Immediate air suspension service/repair required” message on the dash. The first time, the whole suspension was slammed. This morning, just the front suspension is slammed. Dealership told me it was not throwing any codes and was working fine the first time. (Even though it was totally down when they got it). So, wanting to know if this is a common issue and if so what is the final fix?

Well the final fix is going to depend on what the problem is. You cannot apply a solution until the cause of your problem has been identified.

I do know that it is a closed system and that it's filled with 99.99% pure nitrogen. Now if you had a leak the system is designed to draw in regular air from the surrounding atmosphere. This can introduce moisture to the system which can cause problems. Especially if you go to somewhere cold.

I see that you're from Missouri so that shouldn't be a problem.
Most of the issues with these systems seems to come from extreme cold.

Long story short. If that happened you're going to want to get the system purged and filled with nitrogen.

I would check the connections on top of the air struts and make sure everything is connected securely. After that the only thing I can think is to spray all the lines and fittings with soapy water and see if there is a leak.

On a 30 mile trip home today, mine was seemingly stuck in raising mode for about 12 to 13 miles before it reached the aero setting....Second time it’s happened in the bout the last three or four days. Other than that thankfully no problems yet on my 2016.

Appreciate the input. I did drive through a field of tall grass before all this started. First thing I thought of is that may have created a leak. (But for an off-road truck I wouldn’t think that tall grass would cause an issue). But I also would’ve thought the dealership would’ve checked that out. Indeed they said they couldn’t find any issues. Soooo, if the dealership can’t find an issue, I have to wonder if the isn’t an electronic controle module causing an intermittent problem?
