Checked the truck this morning with measuring tape and much to my surprise it didn't drop and it's the same height on the passenger and drivers sides.

I'm a happy camper with my fingers crossed. Service adviser told me they had reached out all across north America looking for help with no response. The engineer that my mechanic worked with was the key to getting this fixed. Once I opened a star case with FCA the dealership had full support. I've post their findings from last 4 weeks in the shop. I have more reports but they are a mute item now.

That's really great news! As a '16 Reb owner, I try to watch all these airbag threads, so it's nice to see one get resolved once in a while. So glad I got the lifetime Maxcare warranty...hope I don't have to use it!

Don't know how many miles you have but being a 16 and no issues, you'll probably won't have any. Lots of Rams out there trouble free with air ride.

The stance for my truck hasn't been this high since it was new. I guess all the new hardware for the air suspension has something to do with it.

Got 36K and my system really has been trouble free so far...being a Texas vehicle probably helps as we just don't get the cold weather you Ontarians get!

Even though the Air would have been nice, with the lower trim in MY 19, do not have, and glad I do not.... But if U have a need for it, always GREAT when all the stuff works correctly. Hopefully OP U were able to get yer issue resolved to yer satisfaction.

Did they ever say what caused it, or was it just faulty parts?

I’m just really, really curious as to why there seems to be an extreme relation to these air ride systems going haywire and really cold climates.

Hopefully it stays fixed. That’s a long road you took with getting that crap fixed and me myself personally, I woulda been madder’n a ***** with Tonsilitis on Valentine’s Day if it were me.

Lol, there were times when I nearly lost it but looking back I'm glad I kept my cool and just let it ride until a solution was found. There was never an issue with a rental so I always had a vehicle to drive. Faulty parts were the main issue and I guess the valve block was the last thing to check and bang that was it. My truck hasn't been driven in the winter yet, stored for 5 months last winter. Last night it dipped to -3c here and the suspension didn't budge. Maybe, just maybe they got it corrected. I'll have 2-3 weeks of cold weather to evaluate the suspension before the 2019 shows up.

Glad they got it fixed for you. My air compressor on my 2017 Rebel went at 10.000 miles. Dealer had it fixed in 2 days so cannot complain.

Good to hear you got your truck fixed. I had my 2014 purged 2 weeks ago and no more messages, so far. I would buy another one. It is a very good ride and quite in the cab, no road noise through the suspension system. This system should be like your air conditioner in the truck, sealed, no air at all, then there would be no problems, except damaged air spring punctures, dried out plastic lines and connectors get brittle over time, preventive maintance just like tires, things wear out. Those in warmer weather areas will have trouble later as water is accmulating and they will have erratic operations at some point. A new message showed up that I had not seen before, "Normal ride attained". New software was installed 2 weeks ago!!! When I brake hard at a light or stop sign, this message shows up. The system is always leveling the truck, that is normal.

Surprise , surprise... my suspension has dropped the last 2 nights. Looks like I'm going to have to dump this truck. At this stage in my life I don't need this aggravation. I said to my wife yesterday that if we don't get rid of it we'll be plagued for the rest of ownership. I'm really pissed off with this whole go around.

That truly sucks. I have been following this thread as I have the AS on my 17 Rebel, 15K miles. So far no issues like yours, though it is cold and snowing today in Md. But I was hoping they had yours figured out and fixed.

It is a sealed system. I’m just as confused as everyone else about it but from what I’ve read, apparently it has something to do with the compressor. Supposedly there was a bad lube that was used, that was sticking in cold weather.

You gotta be kidding me? Did it start dropping like before?

Is that new 19 you ordered still there? I think I’d be making one last trip to the dealer for a trade.

I dropped by the dealership yesterday and broke the news to them. The 2019 will be in some time next week and I'm looking forward to test driving it. As usual I'm told not to worry I'll be taken care of. Looks like this saga continues, so I'll keep you up to date. I haven't talked final numbers with the dealership, the owner has to get involved. Any case, if I can't come to terms on the 2019 they will have to take my truck in to the shop and keep working on the issue. Glad it's a warranty issue so I may have to ride it out and then trade if we can't come to terms on the 5th gen. Sometimes I wish I hated my truck, but unfortunately I love it, ****** suspension and all.
