I have a 14 ram with factory air ride. I've been having problems with the air suspension for about 7 months. After 45 minutes to an hour of driving the compressor will stop working, suspension drops, and I get immediate air suspension service warning on the dash. I've taken it to the dealership twice, the first time (3 days after I bought it) the suspension was working and they couldn't find any problem with it, the second time they said they needed to replace the compressor and then see if anything else was wrong. The price for compressor was $1200. I didn't change the compressor because I really don't believe the compressor is the problem. I think something else is wrong and causing the compressor to over work and over heat. I'm leaning towards the valve block bleeding air back into the tank when it shouldn't be. So, my question is, is there anyone here that is familiar with the air ride system that can help me decide what the problem might be, before I start replacing expensive parts?

Thanks in advance

My 2019 blew airbags when hauling heavy load. But you would know if you blew them. ROUGH ride unless yours came with additional suspension.

Yeah, I don't think I have a problem with an air bag. It rides fine most of the time. But every now and then the suspension drops and won't raise until I let it sit for a while

Hi. I have been having the same problems with my 2014 ram sport. My front seems to drop over night and will go up after the compressor has been running for some time. I have found a very small leak at the rear pressure port behind passenger rear wheel cover for recharging the nitrogen and recently found both my front struts have been leaking at the bottom of the strut just at the bottom of the plastic gator. I have recently stripped down 1 of the struts to see if it could be repaired and found it was just an o ring that was corroded. I will try and post some pictures soon on how to rebuild the struts and save all you guys a small fortune on incompetent dealerships pirates

Might have leaky bags. I blew mine on a 2019 2500 last June.
