Okay here's an update. I got the locks to work. I still can't figure out the lights though. Now I am onto the remote start portion of the system. There are two wires from the system. One is a starter output, and one is a starter input. I connected the output wire to the yellow? wire under the dash. I don't know where to connect the other wire! You can see which wires I am talking about if you look at the pic I posted in the first post. It is under the heavy gauge connecter list.

Also just came across another problem. During the day i blew the 40 amp fuse for the blower motor. Not sure if that is connected to the issue I am about to explain, but I figured maybe. The issue is that the locks fork perfectly (and this is by using the switch on the door) if the ignition is off. Doors open or closed, and ignition off it works fine. If the door is open the locks only unlock. They won't lock. Why? I also believe that if the key is on, they do the same. The ONLY time they work correctly is when the ignition is off. Is this because I blew the fuse?

I believe the yellow wire should be cut and the power side goes to input and the other side goes to the output. Assuming the yellow wire is right. Your directions should tell you this somewhere.

If you read the original post, there are no vehicle specific directions with this alarm. Just the directions that list which wire is for what. Everything I've read says the yellow wire. SO, Ill try that.

Any idea on the lock issue? Or the lights?

Okay I guess the locks are supposed to work like that. So I put 590 ohm resistor in for the parking lights but that causes the fog lights to come on with the parking lights. Why? I tried different resistances but the fog light come on with the parking lights every time.

I hate to be "that guy" but i think its time to seek a professional in my honest opinion before you cook something important. I work on my truck all the time but when it comes to alarm systems and remote starts i leave it to the pros.

Thats not an option. So...if nobody can help then I will find the answer somewhere else.

The hard part is trying to help and being blind. We can't see what you see or easily test wires. Have you tried calling the manufacture and talking to one of there tech's.
Each truck is different and each alarm/remote start is different.
Putting a resistor in the circuit will just "resist" a little of the power. But power will still go through. A diode will only let power go through one way.
When I installed mine I had to put 2 diodes in the circuits but not resistors.
Is there a chance you close to any members on RF that you may be able to get to for help.

Theres several ways door locks can be done. Sometimes you have to use diodes, relays and some vehicles you have to physically cut wires on the door harness to get the locks and door triggers to work. Door locks work on millivolt pulses, not actual voltages. For parking lights youre triggering the wrong wire if youre getting park and fog lights. A power probe would help you. Try www.the12volt.com

Like I said, the locks are fine. And for the parking lights, i'm using the wire every website says and everybody on here says to use. When I add resistors into it, the headlight and foglights come on. Without the resistors, only the interior dash lights flash.
