Ran across this programmer app on the FB Dodge Ram Truck Owners Club. Everything I've read on here, I have been really impressed with. I am not very experienced with tuners and such, so forgive my ignorance. I'm sorry if is has already been answered, but my question is: I have a 2014 Ram 1500 Express with 5.7L Hemi and has the quad beam lights. It is a US truck. I had the dealer turn on the DRLs about a year ago and they could only do the low beams at reduced power. Would I be able to use this app and required bluetooth adapter to change it to the park lights without much trouble? I am actually looking to eventually change out the factory quads to an after market projector light that has an LED halo that runs off of the DRLs. I don't think that taping into the low beam wire at reduced power would work or look very good so I would like to change it to the park lights before I get them. Thank you in advance and I am looking forward to seeing some cool trucks and tricks on this thread.

Thanks 1500ram12. This is program is exactly what I have been looking for. Really pumped to get everything I need to use it. My first Ram, first full sized truck, so I am really eager to have something I feel is worth customizing. Thanks again!!!Yes. You can change it to lows or highs or park/turn lights or fogs and it's very easy

It’s from a 2014 I was told.
I don't think you are going to be able to change it. I think in 2016 they added the ability for different splash screens.

Unfortunately the truck is sending the correct splash screen to the speedometer but the 2014 speedometer is not capable of displaying it.Oh, I figured it would come from the BCM and not the screen itself.
2015+ has the capability of using different splash screens.I don't think you are going to be able to change it. I think in 2016 they added the ability for different splash screens.

Is there a confirmed list of splash screens that work? There have been a couple that I’ve tried that haven’t worked (such as SRT). I have the SRT logo come up on the radio, but was looking for the options available on the cluster.
Yeah I used one of the SRT themes on my radio. They aren’t anything special. I think there is 6 of them. There is a blue one that looks pretty good.Did you also set your radio background to one of the different SRT themes on your radio settings menu?
I know the offroad gets you the gauges Rebel splash, I’m curious if the mopar would work and what it is.
That is correct.
The Tilt in Reverse option only works if you have the Memory equipped mirrors. They will have a 5th wire in the plug in the door and are, 99% of the time, only found on the high end chrome capped OEM mirrors. There are rumors that an OEM black version with memory exists, but I don't believe it's been photographed yet. (Only one blurry shot in the National Inquirer) There are aftermarket black mirrors with the memory functions.
So, that said, which mirrors do you have?

I have the white mirrors with lights, haven't taken the door panels off yet to see the plugs.
But I have another question, the truck is a 2018 Sport, loaded,
I don't see a "2018 My2018 Computer".
Thanks, I have not pulled the door panels yet to check the plugs but will. My mirrors are white with the lights.
The truck is loaded.
But I need to know, I don't see a My2018Powernet Controller. Can I use the 2017 on the 2018 5.7L Sport?
A little late to ask eh?
Just tried to email [email protected].
Email is getting bounced back as undeliverable.
Tried 2 different ISP's.
Makes me hesitant to buy and use Alphaobd.
Wanted to ask--
This is for a 2015 RAM 2500 Cummins.
I see the preferred device is “ODBLink MX Bluetooth”.
Is there any reason to not use an “ODBLink MX+”?
Both devices are on Amazon right now for $69.96 US$

Many of us have used the tool with no issues whatsoever as you can see by this thread being one of the largest on the forum. I'm not sure what you're hesitant about but you don't need to be. The developer has been very good about answering questions and fixing any bugs the program may have after updates and also adding abilities we have requested. Either one of the OBD Link-MX tools should work fine. I am currently using the OBD Link-MXJust tried to email [email protected].
