This. The only settings that take a little bit are ones that have to do with the radio (CSMs, backup camera, travel link, etc). All other actual BCM changes should be immediate, and will actually be “live”, or functional in session (no need to even power down). In fact, all BCM changes can be made in one shot without the ignition on, and even without getting into the truck if you have enough Bluetooth range.
I've made them with the truck off and locked via fob, before walking out of bluetooth range. I set my ride height parameters like that. And within a couple mins the truck was adjusting itself. I was kind of surprised really.
The RAM computer reminds me of SKYNET from the Terminator. Its hard to kill even.

Quick help please
2014 Express install aftermarket headlight with H13 dual low/high LEDS Bulbs

AUXBEAM H13 LED from Amazon

I get a Passenger side High is out.
Used Alfa flashed both High and Low to Yes but still high passenger side out.
Is there something else I need to do
Thanks

This was the ticket for me to still get lamp out warnings when I was supposed to. Youll have to do left and right obviously, highs, and lows, I did the corners as well. I dont know if that helped. But it didn't hurt anything. DRLs are set at 7.4V. That is a huge topic in its own right.

@Gixxer750 Great info there

Wish we could get in touch with Ghost to add it to the first post.
Well, let's see if i got it all covered before we really throw it around. It was a crazy day...im kind of paranoid for the "you screwed me message" to show up

Very cool how you did it [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106][emoji106][emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]

What tire size do you use on the picture?
Any wheel spacers also?
Mmmm, 20x9 wheels 0mm offset w/ 275/65 20 Cooper XLTs that are great in N. Idaho snow, mud, or otherwise. No offsets, tires are almost 2 years old now used year round.

It’s the Alpharex nova series head lights.

Your LED on the switch backs? This is my LED DRL/Turn signal from a broken switchback projector? Or am I sorely mistaken on the "switchback"?
Set target voltage to 7.4V worked for me. Seems like its often overlooked as a culprit
Probably been addressed in the last 1161 pages on this post, but I can't seem to find it.

I have a 2015 1500 Express, swapped my headlight housing to projector style (built in electrical and wiring to connect to the stock reflector plugs no harness needed) and added the MOPAR Morimoto harness/ballasts/HIDs for low beams. I also have LED fogs, switchboard LED turn signals / running lights (wired to the battery and an add a fuse for signal), LED marker lights (integrated in the aftermarket housing), and LED high bulbs.

Everything worked fine for about a year then my low beams would shut off for half a second and immediately come back on, would happen every minute or two. No CEL, no warning, just pop off and back on intermittently. TRS sent me out a whole new harness (4x resistors, capacitor, 2x relay) and everything worked again for about a month. It started doing the same thing of shutting off for a split second then coming right back on.

Bought ALFAOBD and turned on HID in the vehicle configuration settings, unhooked the HID harness completely and had a bulb to igniter, igniter to ballast, ballast to extension cable, extension cable to factory plug setup. After doing that my low beams would not turn on at all, still no CEL or error on my dash. Tried turning on LED low beams, BI Xenon, Quads on/off, LED/HID on together. Never got a CEL but the bulbs also never came on.

Put everything back to stock on ALFAOBD, hooked the harness back up, and everything works again now (but I suspect the lights will still continue to randomly shut off once I actually get on the road for any length of time).

Anyone got any input on why the HID setting seems to have been completely ignored by my 2015? It was enabled per ALFAOBD, but my truck didn't seem to care. Or any recommendations on how to stop my low beams from intermittently flickering with the TRS MOPAR harness?
How many pins are in the original connector compared to the projector? May force you to set as quads. My experience is the 2015 is a finicky ******* compared to all the others. And Morimoto is over hyped crap. Ive tried 2 generations with 2 different set ups in 2 model years. Now they both have the Amazon crap 55w Innovited Ballast/ignitor s with 6000k lamps for about the cost of 1 XB ballast. Parts anyone?

Not sure, the stock quads are long gone. Quads have always been enabled in ALFAOBD, I did try disabling them, no better luck.

I've tried:

HID on/off
LED on/off
LED/HID on together
Quad Lights on/off
Projector on/off
Bi Xenon on/off

Stock with HID/LED/BiXenon/Projector off and Quads on

As well as a few other mixtures of the above settings. Low beams would never come on and I'd never get a CEL or any kind of light out warning. They just wouldn't work. As soon as everything was back on the MOPAR relay harness they'd work. Even changing HID or LED back on, while still hooked to the harness, they worked. But without the harness, no go for some reason.

I know the aftermarket "factory" plug works, as it sends the signal now for the harness and worked with the halogen bulbs they sent in the headlights. So I think my truck is being a typical 2015 picky a$$, but I'm not knowledgeable enough on how to deal with it.

I'm also 90% ALFAOBD is working correctly, I reset my TPMS threshold, global down, LED license plate/Backup/Rear brake/Rear running light, and disabled fog light drop out and tested successfully.

Ok I’ve searched for hours now...has anybody successfully gotten the 32 gallon tank settings to hold? On my 2014 as soon as I change the value for fuel gauge 1 full off of 91% it reverts right back

Distance and consumption units set the same? Same as tank size units? Other than that all I would think is by passing 91% it is telling itself thats not plausible due to another setting, except it usually gets set wrong then gives me not plausible errors when I goof

What is a list of options you can simply turn on? Anyone writing any AlfaOBD articles on 4.5 Gen heavy dutys?

On page one of this thread there is a link that will take you to a list of things that have been confirmed to work.
As for any articles written I'm not sure about that. Maybe somebody else can chime in if they seen that.....

Hey guys, hope you can help me out. I’m a little rusty with Alfa as it’s been a while since I’ve used it...I currently have leds installed in my lows and highs with no adjustment made with Alfa. I have the low beams set to drls and have had this setup working for the past 6-8 months now.

The problem I’m having (and of course this happens when I’m 3 hours for home, but I do have Alfa and the obd reader with me at least) is my drivers side low beam went out this morning and hasn’t come back on. As the drl or the headlight, it’s out either way. Anyone have any ideas of anything I can try to adjust with Alfa? Bulbs have also only been in about 8 months so hopefully not a burnout already.

Anyone figured out how to make the backup camera come on automatically as it should with the UAQ in a 2016 Ram G56 transmission?

@JoeCo I'm going to have to say start with what could be the obvious, the headlight burned out. I'm guessing the headlight doesn't work if the truck isn't running? (This should rule out the BCM keeping the light off).
Lightbulbs will burn for hours on end, what shortens their life is being turned on.

There was a member with a 2014 g56 that tried everything and ended up getting rid of the radio. I know of two people with 2018 g56 that swapped in a UAS/UAQ, and a third one about to, and the backup cam still worked as it was supposed to. Can you post a link to your BCM log? I can get a log of a 2018 g56 and compare them to see if there’s a difference somewhere.

That's interesting! I'm afraid it has to do with a lot of wiring or something expensive. I will copy a link below just let me know if you have any issues viewing it!
