I had the same issue, no air in the defrost, blows air out the dash vents most of the time.

My solution is to set to MTC, wait for a while and very that the vents work properly..
Then set to Dual Zone ATC and leave it there.
ALL functions properly for me...

I did my conversion 2 1/2 years ago
Used HVAC Module: 68105017AE
Conversion harness purchased from the harness connection (not around any longer)
I have a 2017 Express. I recently added the humidity sensor and changed some settings which were originally set by a genie. Could not get it corrected. The only way I got mine to work again was set to mtc and wait. (Went into work) Came out 10 hrs later and set to ATC dual. (Waited over night ) changed to single ATC. Drove to work and came back out. 5 hours later still did not work. Was ready to give up and drove home. Went in and ate dinner. Was ready to give up and post here when I went to take pictures everything worked. Not sure if it is a time or cycle or combination but it appears some trucks take longer? Might want to take it slow before you give up. It was the same for when I added remote start. Might be worth a try.

-Heated Seat Module
-battery icon
-click on I believe was live diagnostics. Select the parameters you want to monitor and hit play button

Any idea if there are aftermarket heating pads that can mimick the function of OEM?

Do OEM pads have an extra lead or two for the sense data?

Well I tried going from single MTC to single ATC directly and that made it so the Auto function didn't work and the temp settings we're glitchy. However the mode selection worked perfectly. Changed it back to MTC for now.

But after reading that post by @Jkieffer maybe I should just wait hours/overnight between changing from single MTC/Dual ATC/Single ATC?

I had the same glitches with the settings. I was about to give up on the whole thing but after the remote start issues and time it took to fully set I waited. For remote start to actually work it took many hours or start stop cycles. All the horn pulses and light flashing would work but would not start. I believe some just take much longer than others. As far as temp I went to the suggestions in alpha post and went to beginning set and waited, next step and waited. Now it works perfectly in my instance.

Fun fact that I recently discovered. If you don’t want to take the time to get the PIN and reset your TPMS thresholds, there’s a simple way to completely turn it off using the software. Go into the same area where you adjust your thresholds but look for a line that says Basic TPMS System Present and make sure it’s off. The next line should be Premium TPMS System Present and set this to off as well. This completely turns the system off and removes the screen from the cluster. Did this on my ‘15 and a friend’s ‘17.

My truck is a 3500 so insted of TPMS it has TPIS. I have the tire pressure display on the EVIC but I don’t have any alarms. It might be worth trying to shut off the TPMS as LAConfederate suggested and if you want the pressure display, try turning on the TPIS option.

I have no experience with anything but the oem pads.

Connections for the seats.

Any idea if the TPIS is available in 2500's? I just might look tonight.

Both Cummins
Here's the HVAC module list. Which one did you use?

* 14-18 ram 1500's have a variable displacement compressor (typ. associated with the 7 speed fan)
>> 14-17's = 68268186Ax HVAC module
>> 18's = 68366552AA HVAC module

* 13-18 ram 2500/3500's (& 13 Ram1500) have a fixed displacement compressor (typ. associated with the 4 speed fan)
>> 14-17's = 68105017Ax HVAC module
>> 18's = 68366553AA HVAC module

& it appears that you need to match the HVAC module to the 8.4 radio year.

M² Mods.

Yeah, they sent me a 68366553AA (because that's what I ordered thinking since I had a 2018 2500 that's what I should order). So, it is in fact designed to work only with the UAG (nav) or UAS (non-nav). My choices were down to two: replace the AC module or replace the radio. I went ahead and ordered a UAS with apple car play. What the heck.

I don’t have my truck so I can’t look but I seem to recall seeing both TPMS and TPIS when going through the list with AlfaPBD.

Yep, I have the digrams too.

Most of the aftermarket pads Ive seen have 2 wires, essentially + and -. The stock setup has 3 and they arent (technically) + and -. I wasnt sure if maybe there was an easy way to mimick how the leads work

I stumbled on a F150 forum where someone did this but it involved a LOT of stuff, just easier to use aftermarket pads and switches, but it would be nice to integrate it all into the truck like the fronts.

I almost had a rear heated seat really cheap but turned out they only had one side of it. And for some reason the rear pads are very expensive compared to the fronts, so just buying the pads is cost prohibitive.

I just got a headlight switch with fogs, and got it working with the app. I dont have fogs in the bumper yet, but I now have 12v at the grey conector under the TIPM. As well as the icon in the guage cluster. All I had to select was Front Fog Lamps Output Present, and selected yes. it was that simple.

Just ordered my cable. About to purchase ALPHA OBD.

Question, as I see this is a 244 page thread. I’m going to fry my eyeballs looking for one item...

Can I adjust tire size/speedometer for my 37” Toyo tires? Could someone point me in the direction of what page that info might be on here?

I appreciate your patience in advance.

Search is a cool feature, just plug in “tire size” and it will bring it up. Did it in Tapatalk and it brings up about 20 posts..

I do agree with you we need an index for this thread..

I cant remember but check the first post and see if its listed in the google docs yet..

Check the Google Drive document on page 1. If it is updated the latest known working mods will be in there.

There are no presets for 37s in Alfa but you can enter it manually in settings by mm. As mentioned before, 37s aren't really 37s but really closer to 36.5.

@Hemi395 So out of curiosity on my 8 hours worth of driving today, I messed around with my climate control. While mine doesn't get stuck, it does take a little while to switch. Anywhere between 5 to 15 seconds and seems to always be random but 5 seconds was the quickest I timed. One time it was closer to 20 seconds.

Got to test out my remotes start and ATC with all the ice we had before I left. When I went out after letting it run for a little while, my windshield was defrosted and the mirrors cleared.

Good to know thanks, I'll keep that in mind. This morning I set it to Dual ATC. Then this afternoon I set it to single ATC. Gonna give it over night and then drive it for a couple days and see what happens...
