Android Auto requires Android 5.0 and up with a data plan (6.0 is recommended) to run on your device. Alfa probably wont display on the uaq. the developer has to include that capability in the app.

How do you see them on settings? I can only find them in evicI got them to show up on the 8.4 radio screen if you go through the Settings Menu, not in the EVIC. Still trying to get all 5 to show, my truck seems to like long naps before a change pushes through.
What are you using for DRL's? I use high beams with stock bulbs at reduced voltage and they are dimmed. LED's might not dim???Anyone able to diagnose why DRL wont dim down with voltage set to low?

You can use an amazon fire tablet once you download the play store app.I am looking to buy a nAndroid phone/tablet for AlfaOBD as it seems that the PC version is much less convenient etc...
What would be cheapest Android device that would work with AlfaOBD?
I believe it depends on the year of your truck. It is either in the EVIC or 8.4 screen. I do not have them in my EVIC at all.
Wish they let you choose.
So far I have:
- Enabled LED for license plate bulbs (can see via backup cam they're not cycling anymore)
- Enabled LED for fog lights bulbs (can see via phone photo sensor / camera they're not cycling anymore)
- Enabled DRL and set to USE LED turn signals (factory projectors -- very bright)
- Set my tire thresholds to 35 PSI (down from 80 / 60 from the factory on my 2017 2500) as I like to run around 45 PSI
- Disabled FOG LIGHT DROPOFF so they stay on with high beams
Still searching for more things to tweak. This is quite awesome.
I was asked by a friend if either of these were possible:
I didn't see anything I could change to do either.
- Set it so when holding down unlock on FOB, the windows will go down all the way
- Set it so backup lights will illuminate upon unlocking the doors

PS: I'm using this for my OBD II Bluetooth Adapter and it works great: https://smile.amazon.com/Vgate-Scanner-Bluetooth-Version-Diagnostic/dp/B075R62FTH
I was poking around in the radio settings and saw there is an option to change the vin. I have a uconnect 5.0 from a 2017 in my 2014. When I read the log on alfa of the radio it shows the vin from the original truck still. Would changing the vin to my truck cause any issues? Im curious because Ive had some strange radio issues recently and thought maybe this might help.
Somewhere in this thread shows how to program the windows to go down. I believe it's called global down. There is a setting to have them go up also but I don't believe anyone has figured it out yet. I haven't seen anyone post anything about having the backup lights come on when unlocking.

Unfortunately the global up doesn't work on the 13 and up Rams. The global down should work. After you set the code and let the truck sleep through a cycle or two push unlock and release on the fob and then push unlock and hold the button. After a few seconds the driver and passenger front windows will roll down. They will stop as soon as you let go of the button.Thank you! I found the "GLOBAL UP / DOWN" in the Doors Configuration section of my body log file. Will check it out:

It's been pretty well concluded by multiple testers that autofold is not possible on our trucks, at least not without 3rd party hardware. One of the new Tazer products claims to do it, but you have to leave the device plugged into your OBD port all of the time for it to work. (And it's expensive!)
