I have used many OBD2 readers and software, this one seems not to work for me. Any tips? It seems to connect but I cannot get any info or run live data. What engine do I choose? 2005 dodge Ram 1500.

It may be because your truck uses a single wire PCI bus network. The first year for CAN bus in a Ram truck was the 2006 model year. It's possible the software doesn't support the PCI bus network.

Yeah, you need a DRBIII or emulator. The Torque app might work.
