I think I put this on the wrong forum, although I did get some helpful responses.,Admin adapt or remove as needed

Can’t seem to find it . Is it possible to set up phone with Alpha OBD witt the Aloha app to show trans gear, EGT, regen and other “gauges?" If possible, would like to avoid getting another app, but will do it if necessary. I have 2014 Cummins SLT with the 3” EVIC. Also any suggestions , after market mounts to keep my old Android for Alpha on this small ”Ram” cubby on the dash . Previous owner had a Garmin next to it.
Alpha has already paid for itself . Activated turn signals , flip and puddle lights for add on tow mirrors as well
as reset TPMS . Would like to use the old Android I got free from a relative for Alpha OBD as extra gauges, any problems leaving OBD plugged in? No, don’t want to switch to 7” at this point , maybe later. I have an iPhone for regular use. I wouldn't bother with power for the Android, just charge it back up when needed

As far as I know no. But you can download either obdlink app or torque app and they allow you to set up different gauges. Info is pulled through the obd 2 port.

Again, Torgue Pro as we stated in your other thread is by far the best option.

Thanks, finally got the correct app. As a retired teacher, I was spoiled by great tech folks, now I have to figure it out on my own. Any link on how to add PID? I think I found a code for regen and trans gear, but not for EGT. Any links would be appreciated, already searched here.

Update: Found what I needed and I think I got them loaded, although a link to other PID would be great for the future.
Just like I used to tell students; "look it up"

What app did you end up using? I want to do something similar with my 2012 Ram 3500

For Torque Pro you need the extended PIDs. The site that hosts them is "updating" But I also have them on my Google drive

There is also one for the trans temp that I entered manually
OBD2 Mode and PID 22b010
equation ((A*256)+B*(1/64)
OBD header 7E0,3E01
