They might actually be 1.75", I forget which ones I got lol.

No rubbing, I did zip tie the rear part of the front fender liners back for a little more clearance.

Could you post a few more pics of your truck if you get a chance? I plan to upgrade to 35s and 1.5 wheel spacers and I want to make sure I like the look and that they clear. I will Not be getting a body lift I just have bils at 2.8! Thanks!

Good day! Ive read through this entire post and the information is phenomenal. I havent put my Bils on yet but as soon as it warms up I will be doing so. I have a 2014 RAM Sport CC 4X4. I pull a trailer for my wife with tremendous tongue weight about 6 to 10 times a year so I am looking at purchasing these,

The question that I didnt see or may have missed, can I use the above air bags with .75 or a 1 inch spacer in the rear? I want to do this right. The answer will dictate if i go 2.8 or 2.1 on the front. I havent been able to find a definitive answer via Google or these forums. Thanks in advance! I apologize in advance if i should have posted this elsewhere.

Best way to be sure would be to call airlift directly.. but, I’m going to say that 1” of lift shouldn’t create an issue

Just ordered Bils, mevos, and airlift 1000 bags. Been going back and forth for months on 2.1 vs 2.8. Every time I think I have my mind made up, I second guess my choice. I was planning on running 275/65/20 KO2s. Not sure I want to go to 35s. Will be getting the tires in the next month (Costco sale on BFG)

I have had Bilsteins at just about every height from 1.4 and above on my last few Ram 1500s. I like the look of about 3" lift with 34" tires . So on this truck ( black 17) I did 1.4 on the Bilsteins and 1.5 Body lift . Now I have a great ride and the 3" lift I wanted for this size tire. On my Red 2014 I had the same BL on it for a while but didn't care for the 3" lift with the 35.12.50 KO2's. It looked better with the 3" BL replacing the 1.5 to give it a great riding 4.5" lift with 35's. The Black 17 don't really look lifted to me but rather it looks the way a 1500 4x4 Ram should of came from the factory instead of looking like a 2wd

Good evening everyone. Just joined the website a few days ago however I have been watching for a while. I have a 2016 Ram Laramie 4WD 5.7 Hemi. Considering going with the Bilstein 6112 in the front and 5100 in the rear. May also upgrade the upper control arm at the same time. Only looking to go around a 2 inch lift the front end nothing in the rear. One question I had was how the steering felt after the leveling. If going with the solution I am considering, will the steering still feel tight? I really don’t want a vague feeling steering. Also, do I really need to change out upper control arms? Truck only has 24,000 miles on it. Will likely only be a highway queen with occasional driving on gravel roads and the beach for fishing. I appreciate your assistance.

Steering will be fine, you shouldnt need new UCAs for only 2 inches, once you get closer to 3" it is beneficial to get new ones that correct the balljoint angle and make alignment easier.

And no, Mevotech ucas do nothing for correcting suspension geometry despite what some people might think.

E-rok, thank you for the reply. I keep reading conflicting information. Some say 2" is the magic number for UCA replacement and I thought I was right at that point. Looking at the Bilstein 6112 instructions it looks like I can go 2", 2.4" or 2.8". I am going to go to either 2" or 2.4" of level/lift. I measured and I have 2.75" of rake between front and rear today. Is 2.4" is still safe for existing UCA. I appreciate the assistance.

Hello everyone,
Just picked up a silver 2017 Longhorn, and need to liven it's look up a bit.

I've spent the last two days scrolling through this thread, and I'm on the fence on whether to stay conservative, (5100s at 2.1, and some 275/65/20 Ridge Grapplers) or go ahead and raise it up (5100s at 2.8, Mevos, 1.5 rear spacers and 35x11.5 Ridgegrapplers).

I do travel in the truck a lot, and when you go to the 35" Grapplers with the deeper tread they get pretty heavy, so losing significant mpg's is a concern.

I thought about a middle ground, of just leveling at 2.1, and going with 285/65/20, but a 34.8" tire may look a little disproportionate on a non lifted truck.

Any thoughts?
