Alternative to factory overhead console?

I've got a Tradesman and no overhead console. The only thing I'd really like to have is the individual map lights for the front seat occupants. I was wondering If anyone has found a decent alternative? Seems there is a ton of LED options available in various forms but nothing I've found I s made specifically for this purpose. my headliner has the big bulge so I could add an overhead console, just don't have the money to go that route at the moment and I like to tinker so I'm interested in other options.

There are probably lots of options for reading light fixtures if you look at marine and RV supplies as long as you have the spot to mount them and run wires.

I think those are the only functional things in my overhead console except there is also a small ambient light that shines down.
