Amp install question

I'm going to be installing my amp sometime over the holidays. I am planning on installing under the rear seat in the middle between the two seat brackets and I already made sure it fit so I just have a couple of questions:

1. Where did you guys drill the hole in your firewall?
2. Where did you mount the in-line fuse in the engine compartment?
3. Where do you run the power wire? I'm assuming I'll have to take out the drivers seat.
4. Are the cargo areas under the back seat hollow? I wanted to run wire underneath them if at all possible for clean install.

Let me know what you guys think and I'd love some pics if you got them.

There is a plastic blank off plate for where the clutch would be that works perfect for running the power wire unless you have a standard transmission. Personally I wouldn't put the amp in that location-i would be worried about it overheating. I had mine under the drivers seat.

You can run the wire to the back without taking the seat out. Take out the sill moldings and lift the carpet up and you will find a depression with wires running through it and you can get your power wire in there and put the carpet back down and you wont ever know its there

Thanks Butch. Any other recommendations on amp location out there or pictures? I'd like to avoid putting it under the front seats because I don't like my audio equipment getting dirt . I'm going to start this today in a couple of hours so anything helps!
