I plan on eventually adding a pretty BA stero in my truck and have all the stuff to do door speakers. i am putting in a kenwood headunit and 4 polk audio speakers that 100 watts rms a pair so im going to use a amp. i have a old rockford fosgate 600 watt amp that i plan to use for the speakers but i cant decide on a good place to put it. i am eventually installing subs and i have a big amp for that which is almost 2 feet long which is the main reason i cant decide on a place to put the amps. i want them close to each other for wiring reasons. I was thinking under the rear seats. anyone els done this or have any better ideas? i will be running either 4 gauge wire or MAYBE 0/1 gauge. so another question is did anyone find a nice easy place to run there wiring to the back of there truck?

Thanks!

I have it setup so that my amp sits under the driver seat because I found it to be the best place, I used the hole where hood latch cable runs through to connect my power I then hid the cables under the carpet and simply cut a hole on the carpet to pull the cable through I also did that with my RCAs and I used a bolt from the seat belt for my negative.

I have a large 1000W Hifonics amp that I installed under the right rear seat. I mounted it on top of the utility space lid. It's nice because I can still use all the storage area and it makes it easy to run the wires. I have a custom box for my 12 inch sub that replaces the center front seat under the center console so it works out great for me.
