I just installed a set of these today. They were very easy to install. Easy to wire. Seems to be a well built mechanism. My Grand daughter thinks they're just the koolest things!!. Without looking at step bars on side of the truck it puts more space between the ground and rocker, making truck look even bigger. Not to mention they drop down 3 1/4 inches lower than the Mopar steps I had on there. Very much nicer to get in and out of truck now. Very happy with this product. A bit pricey, but its only money huh??:happy107:

Awesome, so where are the pics? I was thinking about going that route bit like you said they are pricey so I just had the factory put on theirs on my new 6.4L.

I have them also, and think they are a great product. Congrats on the purchase and DIY install.

When I finally do a lift I plan on getting these. I took my stock bar off cause I hated the look. Love the clean look of not having them but the wife will love actually having something to step on to get in easier.

I take it you have the new ones with the plug n play harness? The older models had a lot of wiring which was tedious. Do you have the standard ones or the new model for lifted trucks?

I have the new set. Plugs right into the OBD port.

Pricey yes, but was a must have for me, I just couldn't find any fixed steps that made the truck look better. I had a set waiting by the time my ordered truck arrived.

Nice truck! Can you post another picture with step extended. Also, what size tire are you running?

I want to do these also. I don't like the look of the factory steps which I have now.

Here's a couple more photos. The step is lower to the ground (more distance from the cab) than typical nerf bars. The installer cut the boards longer than AMP specifies because he likes the cab length look better.

I had a set on my lifted 05. I loved them! Going to order a set for the new truck. The factory step just doesn't do it for me

I put a set on my 2015 and my install went pretty much as the instructions said. They work great, including functioning through a Maryland winter; no issues from show/ice kicked up on the linkage. The only problem is the left side hangs up on the rocker pinch weld in cold weather. Doesn't hang up in warmer (above 35 F, or so). Also, the right side sits about an inch below the rocker, while the left tucks up nice and high like the pictures from AMP. I may have to try the "jump up and down on the step 4 or 5 times" on the left side, as mentioned earlier.

I came across this link and was wondering if anyone has run into this problem? Kinda on the fence about buy the steps.

I'm 99.9% positive I'm going to pull the trigger. I've called numerous places but the only site I found where someone actually called me back was this one. The guy seemed very knowledgeable and assumed me this only happens on the Diesel Chevys.
