My understanding is that 76138-01A will fit any truck except those with a "crash" bracket near the drivers side front mounting point that most 2016s have. Some here just remove the bracket. This model plugs into the ODB port and is the easiest to install. My 2016 Big Horn does not have the bracket.

The 75138-01A will also fit all trucks but it splices into the truck's wiring harness and is therefore less money but harder to install.

Soon to be released 76139-01A will accommodate the crash bracket.

They come with a crew cab length step which you cut to fit shorter cabs. You just cut the step as shown in the directions.

The interfering bracket below.

AB, in case you haven't figured it out, you want the first one on the list, WITH plug-and-play. The kits are all the same... for a quad cab you will cut the step itself, which is really just a rectangular metal tube, to shorten it.

I have a 15 and had to remove that bracket. Zip ties were my friend at this point. Another thing I wanted to mention is if you are installing yourself - DO NOT - use a power drill when attaching he running boards to the hydrolic linkages. The anchors that act as nuts are made out of Aluminum and are not meant to be tightly torqued. It will stretch the threads and end up backing out on you. I leaned the hard way. Just use ratchet or a torque wrench with no need for loctite.

I just installed these on my new ram 2500 this week end, I got them from Ray at ElectricStep.com. First class service & support in my opinion. It took me longer than the instructions said it should but being my first install I think I did fine. I would recommend these steps for appearance and functionality, make sure you get the plug & play kit as it will save a lot of time in the end.

The 2016 7613901 model is now available. I had a set professionally installed as I didn't have all the right tools handy.

The only difference I see is a notch/rabbit on the top of the front motor mounts to clear the crash bracket and holes for the crash bracket bolts. My 2016 BigHorn short bed did not have a crash bracket, so a spacer is supplied to fill the gap (it was missing from kit, however).

The instructions seem to be better in that they include how to use the harness bracket adapter.

The professional installer, who has done hundreds of installs, did not use pop rivets. He says the pop rivets corrode and disintegrate within 3-4 New England winters and that the RAM mounting is solid without the pop rivets. He's seen several with a lot of years without issue.

He cut the boards 55 inches which is nice cab length, but they did interfere with the little front fender mud guard. A little trim and things are better.
