In all honesty I kinda half asses looked around for an answer to this and didnt find anything. So, DRL's are an option on both quad lights and projectors. If you have quad headlights with the drls active and you upgrade to the oem projectors, will the drls still work? Or, if you install the projectors, can 1 go into dealer have sales code LM5 added and work? Are the drls only available on 13+ and newer? One more thing. Will the OBDgenie turn on the projector drls if truck was originally equipped with quads. Thats alot of questions...thanks.

In reading and following the many DRL threads on here I was curious of the same. I don’t remember seeing an answer.
I too will be doing the quad to projector swap soon. And I am thinking about adding the DRL.
I have a feeling that if the code was added to our trucks that it would still think that it was the quads and we would have dim high beams instead.
Although I believe it to be a different codes for quads and projectors, so part of me thinks that it would work in the LEDs for the DRL.

Thanks JB1, forgot about that module. Also, I remember talking to JJ a while back and he said he used a relay on his 2011? to make them work. I know there are prob a few different ways to do it. Just looking at options. Though it might help some other guys on here as well.
