Another FNG

Howdy. I recently bought a 2008 Ram 1500 one owner truck. It's in incredible condition. According to his widow the truck was her husband's prized possession and it shows.
There's a few minor issues I intend to resolve and looking forward to advice and guidance from the group.

I had a 2009 1500 Laramie. Loved that truck. Unfortunately it had to go in order to get a 2500 to tow the upcoming fifth wheel.
No problems whatsoever with it. Was a bit under powered for towing the pontoon boat but great otherwise.

Welcome to the forum. I drive a 2008 Dodge 1500 5.7. I bought it new in 2008 and I have close to 200k miles on it and still runs great.

I have tiers, hauled, offroaded it, and it is still my daily driver.

I have had absolutely no issues with it, other than your regular maintenance schedule.

I change my oil every 3k miles, use full synthetic oil, mopar oil/air filter, and I pour a full bottle of Lucas Oil oil stabilizer every oil change (some would call this blasphemy, but it has worked so far). I have been doing this since new, and I intend on keeping her for a long time yet. Good luck.
