Finally installed the High beams that I picked up a month ago from Retro-shop.

100 times better than stock! The only downside that I see is the lag when you switch back to low beam. I left the low beams as is. If you're looking for a significant improvement than I say do it.

Retro-shop was beyond awesome! highly recommended!

HIDs take a second or two to warm up.
If you switch back and forth fast it wont take long at all, but it's not good for the HIDs

Good to know! Does anyone actually know the lifespan of these? Not too worried about it... Just wondering what to expect.

If you get the low & high beam HID's that's not a problem because the current stays in the system. If I switch to HID's that's what I'll get. I'll get a separate system for the fogs and do the bypass mod so if I turn on the high beams the fogs won't get the current surge either. They'll just stay on all the time.
