I've used a heavy bristled brush, high pressured nozzle, etc on my wheels and not a flake has come off.

I'm thinking about doing my grill. It's chrome & I've got the whole black theme going, but just wanted to ask would y'all recommend sanding the grill with some fine sandpaper or what do y'all think?

honestly, you dont need to sand anything if you are plastidipping. I just used it for the first time (I was all for paint instead) but I actually like this stuff. I painted my side steps and when my helper scratched it all up on the concrete. I just peeled it off the whole step and you cant tell it was there

Another good thing is if you get some rock chips you just spray it again.

I'm thinking about doing the bed in mine so I can pull out the plastic drop in liner.

Same here. At least until I can get a spray-in anyways

IMO. Plastidipping my bed for $65+ is a waste. 26 gallons of premium fuel cost me $120 yesterday.

I can't remember where I saw it but there was a member who did his front bumper, got into a pretty rough wreck, and it had only one small scratch on it...the bumper structure was totalled.

ON dodge forum. I can't remember his name either, but the bumper was completely wrapped around a light pole but the plastidip was still intact.

I am thinking of doing my bumpers and step ups, can't decide. I did it once already.

You do know they sell red plasidip right? You can only buy it at ACE Hardware stores.
I think you should do your bumpers red, and the grill black. Or all red.

hmm.... now you tossed a wrench in my plans. I already ordered spray paint that is the same as the truck (pr4) and I was planning on doing the grill red. Bumpers/step/truck box/ maybe wheels all black.
