Another Shift Knob Thread...

We really should do a sticky on these since there are several threads already so here's mine.

This was super easy to do and changes the interior look quite well. I wasn't sure how well I would get used to it since it is smaller than stock but I'm pleased with the outcome. There are several versions but I got mine from Billet Technology and you can get it in different colors. I thought black looked best for me. The next thing I might look at doing is plasti-dipping the chrome ring around the console.





And one dark shot at a stop light near home. I like the way the overhead LED shines on it at night.

I really like that a lot, now if someone would only make something for a column shift.

That looks real good..Is that a sleeve that goes over the original shaft?Def plastidip the chrome ring..It completely gets rid of the glare at night time in the windows and just makes it look cleaner IMO..

Looks great. I got a black "HEMI" one from the BT sale. I really like it. It's quite cold in the winter, and I assume it will be hot in the summer. I left the OE chrome shaft, but had my surround painted prior.

so is there a set screw that holds the knob in place?

If only replacing the **** knob got rid of the creaky, thin plastic, OMG it's about to break sound the shifter makes when using it.

The sleeve came with the shifter since the original shaft is rather skinny. I think it looks better and yes, the chrome ring will get plasti-dipped when things warm up.

Yes, the set screw it up front. You can't see it but you feel it.

I know billet tech makes them with the m but if your talking what I think your talking idk maybe they would do some thing custom,
