Another transmission question

Hey guys and gals im building a 46re transmission and looking at parts such as sonnax sure cure kit and the transgo shift kit... will these work together or do i need to choose one or the other. Im not very familiar with transmissions but im willing to get my hands dirty and learn. Any advice is welcome also criticisms too.

One or the other. I had the sonnax in my old trans and though i loved it, it wasn't quite as good as a shift kit.

The sonnax fixes a lot of weak points in the valvebody but the transgo goes a step further

Thanks for the info .. im going to be grabbing an extra trans sometime after the holidays to tear down and build

If you were anywhere near western Iowa I'd say you could have my old one with the sonnax kit in it lol just needs a converter
