I honestly dont understand why they couldnt add the antenna into the GPS/Sirius Antenna on the roof. I think it would look sleeker versus having a 2 foot whip on the fender of the truck. It just looks dumb IMO.

I like the whip better than the GM's with the shark fin stuck on the roof off center and right above the windshield. I NEVER understood why it had to be there. On our Enclave it's centered and in the back of the roof much like my G8 is.

I can't remember the last time I used AM or FM in my G8. I don't know if I ever did. Hell, I've only put one CD in it and it was one my buddy wanted me to listen to. If I'm not using SXM or my iPhone then the stereo is off. :)

I'm noticing that some of you guys need to get some trim dressing on the base of your antenna's! They're supposed to be black!

I put a black 13" extendable antenna on my truck yesterday and it works great. I can extend it when I know I'll be on a road trip or something, but around town it seems my reception is just as good as it was with the stock antenna.

I had mine shaved and ran my radio off a cb antenna and my cb off another. Had 2 four or five foot fire sticks. But I like the short stock antenna might do that since I gotta replace my fender once again. So I don't gotta do no body work lol

I got my stubby one from pep boys, I think $12 for an all black one. Reception isn't bad, now and then strong stations get quieter but overall works well.
Would love to have my antennae located elsewhere.

I just installed a black 13" shorty antenna from AntennaX. NO reception loss, and looks much better. It was like $20.

I just picked up the new Aug/Sept issue of Trucks Plus (a Canuck trucking mag),and they show a new i'm guessing 2014 Ram Longhorn, and in the pic's the truck looks like it has a cap for an antenna, truck also has a decal that says "ECODiesal",i don't know anything other then that, lol.
But maybe Dodge has come out with something new antenna wise, that might be worth looking into.
That's all i can see from the pictures of the truck in the mag,as nothing is mentioned about the antenna in the article.
