Anti-Theft Code

Can anyone tell me how to go about obtaining the anti-theft code for the RA2 radio in my 2014 RAM 1500?

I just upgraded my radio to an RA4 and I would like to pass the RA2 along to someone who can use it but I hesitate to do so without the code.

Some models may not require a code but mine does. After additional research (which I should have done prior to posting) I discovered https://www.carstereocode.com/unlock.php?mk=8 and was able to obtain the code from there in just a couple of minutes.

Once again RAMFORUM.COM comes through for me!!

If you reread the post that you quoted you’ll see he gave the reason. I’m sure you just overlooked that detail.

I got the code for my RA2 from my local dealer with a simple phone call. They had it on record that I owned the truck so they didn't require me to come in with the registration & ID. They did need the serial number off the radio though.

Lol exactly. He wants to get the code so he can sell it. Why would you hesitate giving something to someone for free. Let them do the leg work.

Just call a dealer. Make sure you have the PN of the Radio and the VIN# of the original truck it came in and the dealer should give it to you. I just did this last week with no problems.
