So, just got new tires today. I can't stand all the "hairs" sticking out, so I grab a few beers and sit my ass on the floor with a pair of snips and take them off one by one. Brutal!!!!!!

Those are called pin vents ... And from the W that I can see, those are Wranglers ... Michelin, who also makes BFG is hands down the best at trimming their tires ... Goodyear, one of the worst ... Cooper is average ... My Toyo’s were smooth as a baby’s butt ... My company sells the blades that they all use in their trimming operations ... Some obviously do it better than others

OMG!! Don't do it! They are there for extra traction when navigating the parking lots of the world. They also serve to make the air swirl around your tires to keep them cooler. :anitoof::crazy:
Just bustin your chops, do whatever makes you happy.

I had to trim them off my prior Faulken Wildpeaks and my Terra Grapplers on my prior Titan also. Guess I'm a bit ****.

Michelin doesn't make bfg, they own them. They bought them out, but left the manufacturering process and design intact.

You learn this every year when you go to Michelin /bfgoodrich /uniroyal training seminars.... Every damn year.....

No buttercup, your issues are unique to you!

As to the tires...drive faster and they'll come off!
