I just came back home from a trip while towing. Got on the freeway and thought the truck was a little sluggish, and then remembered I had forgotten to put the pulsar in "tow mode". Soon as I did that, it felt much better. It's not just the pedal sensitivity, I actually didn't notice that, I noticed a loss of power believe it or not. Right in the range of 1900 to 2400 or so, the pulsar seems to increase torque somehow somewhere. Less downshifting over smaller grades, it just digs deeper.

These guys put it on a dino; gains of 51 hp and 62 lb/ft of torque under the curve (not peak) in performance mode. To be honest I didn't notice the gains in the RPM range they mention, but probably because for me I tow at 2100 RPMs so I just notice how the downshifting is less often while in 6th. Once it downshifts I always had more than enough power and didn't really pay much attention to any increases from the pulsar.

Kinda nuts for a plug and play device. To think I almost sold it because I don't like how it changes the pedal sensitivity, I just want the power gains and not the pedal changes.
