Anyone have a contact for corporate?

Took in my wife’s 2018 Durango GT due to the from bumper popping out at the fender slightly. Dealership forwarded info to corporate and they denied the claim due to we must have hit something. The vehicle is pristine without a scratch and only 17,000miles. The issue started soon after we bought it we just never had time to bring it in.
Since December 2018 we bought both this Durango GT and Ram 2500.

If I can’t get this issue taken care of I Will never buy another Chrysler/Dodge product ever again.

Oh I also bought this truck. Spent approximately $115,000 with them since 2013 and they won’t replace a plastic bumper. B9EAADB5-27D3-494D-AF75-D00C965A2184.jpeg

Might try looking for employees on linkedin and hassling them that way if you want to get past the front line customer service folks. Individually it's not their fault they're doing as directed by management.

Update I grabbed the service manager and the shop foreman and had them give me their opinion.

Service manager agreed that it should be replaced and we hadn’t hit anything.

contacted his area supervisor and got a customer good faith ok to replace.

Good to hear

Sometimes you gotta lights a fire under their ass. They get so use to saying it’s not covered or you must of done this is or that blah blah and more often then not customer leaves and leave it at that. A little common sense if you hit something... there would be other apparent damage.

the service manager contacted the area supervisor not me. So I don’t have the number.

How many hours did you spend getting a “good faith ok”? That’s what sucks about the FCA dealers, it’s always “that’s not under warranty” until you go postal and hope you will get taken care of. I’ve never owned a vehicle under warranty with so many problems that the service advisor says are normal.

Theres a service bulletin to correct that issue. Involves removing the front fascia and cutting tabs on bumper retaining clips. Says it just excess of material on fascia. I got my wife a 20 durango that the left side is popping out. I researched at work and thats when i found the tsb. Have not had any vehicles come in with that issue that i have repaired so cant comment on if it fixes the issue. Im lazy to do that on my durango, even if i get paid for fixing it under warranty lol. I tap it in place every now and then to pop it in place, but then comes back out. Ill try to remember at work to post the bulletin.

Correction... is not a bulletin. It is a star case S1913000001. Ask your dealer to take a look at that and see what they think

The real beetch is they pissed you off over a 1 hour job that rightfully should have been approved from day 1.
