Anyone have good luck with these?

I was able to talk to dealer down on these side steps from $512 to $412. These are Mopar 82215301ac. Thanks!

Yes, I purchased on eBay a set of these from a Mopar dealer in Atlanta. I paid $467 shipped to my door so you are getting a good deal. In my opinion these are far superior to the Mopar chrome wheel to wheel steps as these have three support brackets that attach to the frame instead of only two. They are made for us big guys and don't flex like a damned diving board like the chrome wheel to wheel steps.

These are very, very solid and also help protect the rockers...plus I have Husky Liner splash guards installed too. Highly recommend if the ones you are purchasing are genuine Mopar Part No. 82215301AC. I installed them myself as the studs are already on the truck. They come fully assembled to simply use an 8mm x 1.25 Metric Hex Die (Amazon for $4.93) to clean the threads, then install on the studs and tighten the nuts down to the specified torque. You must clean the threads of the paint on them otherwise the nuts will be very tight to get on and you run the risk of them snapping in the future. Do it right the first time and they should last for a very logn time. I then purchased a can of the Rust-Oleum Undercoating from Autozone for $8 and sprayed over the studs and nuts to prevent corrosion. Less than 30 minutes to install.

P.S. I looked at other brands but the aftermarket required assembly, monkeying around with the attachments or drilling. These are no drill, simply place each unit as they come in the box on the underside body with the studs that are factory, and put on the nuts. Easy, secure and OEM.

I'm not a fan of side steps, but those do look the best IMO and for OEM, you did good on price. I'm sure they'll hold up in terms of not corroding, better than aftermarket.

I have those on my truck, and while I haven’t put many miles on yet (about 1400), I’m happy with them. The finish seems like it will hold up well with time. They’re very sturdy.
