Anyone know how to do logos?

I am starting a dog club (weightpull and conformation) and I am trying to get a simple outline logo done, but am not computer savvy. I already have the basic part of it, I just need the outline of two dogs added. It basically says "Deep South Bull and Terrier Association" across the top and bottom, with the outline of the state of Mississippi in the center. I want to put the outline of two dogs over the state. One weightpulling, and one just standing. I know it's a stretch, but if anyone here has the spare time, could anyone help me? Full credit will be given to whomever does it. It's basically all outline, because I want it to be a simple design to put on shirts, flyers, etc.
