I wanted to follow up from my earlier post and touch on what @corneileous wrote.
I did go ahead a buy new rims and tires. Tires are BFGoodrich T/A KO2, 275/65R20 and I’ve put a little over 1k on them since. These are the exact tires and size I had on my 14 Ram and now that I have them on my 19, I think I would have been better off with the Nitto’s for my needs.
On my 14, the KO2’s didn’t seem to make much of a difference in ride quality while on the 19, it does feel heavier and the ride is not as supple. I attribute this to how nice the 19 rides compared to my 14. Don’t get me wrong, even with the KO2’s, it is still nicer than my 14 but the difference from stock to now was more noticeable on the 19 as compared to the 14.
Since the most I tow is a boat at 3500lbs, I don’t need that stiff of a sidewall and the Nitto’s would have probably been a little softer for every day driving. I could see me buying some Nitto’s down the road, far down the road after I wear these out.
